Working with Haley was truly life-changing for our family. She played an incredible role in both of our sons' development, each with very different needs, and the impact she made is something we will always be grateful for.
Our son Royal began speech therapy with Haley at just a few months old, during a time when he required thickened liquids and faced significant feeding and communication challenges. Through her expertise, patience, and dedication, she helped him make remarkable progress over the course of a few years. She guided him from needing thickened liquids to drinking through a straw and eating a regular, cut-up diet. Along the way, she introduced communication tools such as sign language and simple buttons like "more" and "all done," and eventually helped him receive his own AAC device, a Tobii Dynavox. This gave Royal a voice and allowed us to better understand his needs.
Our son Tempyr had a very different journey. Due to chronic ear infections early on, he required tubes at 10 months old and had his adenoids removed at 12 months. After experiencing hearing challenges, he began to fall behind in speech. Haley worked with him for years and helped him grow from saying only a few words to speaking in full sentences and meeting every goal she set. She has an incredible ability to balance structure with fun, setting clear expectations while creating engaging activities that kept him motivated, especially important for such an active child.
What sets Haley apart is not only her clinical knowledge, but her ability to truly connect with each child and tailor her approach to their individual needs. She made therapy feel encouraging, achievable, and even fun, while still delivering meaningful, measurable progress.
Because of the foundation she built, both of our boys gained the skills and confidence they needed to succeed, whether that meant safe feeding, effective communication, or being prepared for school. Even after transitioning away, she has continued to check in over the years, which speaks volumes about the level of care she provides.
We are incredibly grateful for the role Haley has played in our family's journey. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly exceptional at what she does. We could not recommend her more highly.
